A Neural Network is a computational model inspired by the structure of the human brain, consisting of interconnected layers of artificial "neurons" that process and transmit information. Each neuron receives inputs, applies mathematical operations (weights and activation functions), and passes the result to neurons in the next layer. Neural networks are used to solve problems in artificial intelligence, and have thereby found applications in many disciplines, including predictive modeling, adaptive control, facial recognition, handwriting recognition, general game playing, and generative AI.
